Winchester sash window bay rebuild

This substantial Georgian property had two rectangular bays with five pairs of sashes. At first glance, things looked in a moderate condition, but a journey of distressing discoveries involved rebuilding some 50-60%, including new hardwood cills.

Some pairs were fixed, but the clients wanted these enabled, so new pulleys were cut in.

The finished article included upgraded security and draught-proofing.
