Georgian Window Seat Rebuilt

Stop the rot! Sadly if this is not done in good time the extent of repairs needed to complete a refurbishment can get a little out of hand.

During a restoration project (featured under the title "These sashes are a knock out") we began the usual external box repairs only to discover that the rotten cill had transferred the decay into the window seat and the adjacent panelling.

Whilst the project was time consuming we (and the client) were very pleased with the results.
